Home is Where the Droids Are is a speculative film produced for the Housing the Human Festival in Berlin. It depicts a living room where a menagerie of autonomous appliances run amok from their programmed routines. A woman is surrounded by her well intentioned, but unhelpful, robotic house assistants as she attempts to go about her household chores. Despite their flaws, the robots develop their own charms beyond function.
